Hermine Vedogbeton (IDSC '2013)

Hermine Vedogbeton (Senegal) received a B.A. in Accounting and Financial Techniques from CESAG, Senegal in 2005. She started her career as a Finance Assistant and worked for two years as Finance Manager in a British Business Company in West Africa. From 2007 to 2010, she worked for World Vision, a development and advocacy organization working for children and their community to eradicate poverty. She has served as coordinator of human resources in West Africa Regional Office, reviewing and providing support on policies and procedures. She also worked in the field with HR directors in 8 countries in West Africa on employment practices, compensation, employment benefits and human resources programs. Her academic interests are in sustainable resource management and community-based development, including water and sanitation, microfinance, poverty alleviation and environmental policy.
